I am a self-taught
photographer from Orillia, Ontario, mostly learning through reading how-to books
and photography magazines combined with lots of trial and error. Through this I
have grown in experience and skill over the years and continue to challenge
myself to become better. I have always had a passion for the outdoors,
especially for wildlife, and photography has given me a great outlet for
learning about what I see/find and the ability to share it with friends. As a
graduate of the Fish and Wildlife program from Sir Sandford Flemming College I
strive to be accurate when identifying flora and fauna, as well as giving true
facts about them.
My gear has changed
over the years. I started with a Sony A200, then to the Nikon D60, the Nikon D3000,
and now currently I am using a Nikon D300 camera with the Nikon 18-55mm lens
and the Sigma 150-500mm lens. Various other pieces make up the rest of my gear such as a Manfrotto Tripod, Polarizer and Neutral Density Filters, and a Remote Trigger.
The purpose of this
website is to create an online gallery for showcasing some of my best images
with the option to sell images. Feel free to leave comments on your favorite images
in the gallery; I am always open to constructive criticism.
